Trying To Find A Way To Enjoy This
So I am almost done painting the first room (in my project to paint the whole house), and it's been a bear.The molding, doors, and window sills took 3 coats.
The walls weren't so bad, I just put one coat on them.
But I don't like the color, so I won't be painting the other rooms that same color.
It's like a mix between buttery and sherberty; it's ok but darker than I wanted.
Anyway, I guess I should feel a sense of accomplishment in having started this project, I just wish I had more enthusiasm for it.

Oh, I like to paint! It's the prep work that's a bear. Scraping and patching and TSP-substituting...argh! Sorry the colour isn't working as you'd hoped. Did you do a colour swatch first? Even then, it can be hard to tell...
Hey, at least you didn't just lose your kitchen counter to project creep like I did. Man, it's going crazy around here!
