Maybe A Volvo XC90?

In looking at buying a used vehicle, I vacillate between Acuras, Lexus (Lexi?), and Volvos.

One of the vehicles I have liked for over 5 years now is the Volvo XC90.

Why?

It's little.

It's reliable.

The MPG is ok; low 20s in city.

It would age well.

It is one of the cheaper vehicles to insure.

It's versatile; I could easily drive it on any city road, but also take it to the mountains.

Anyway, it's now back on the list, but not to the exclusion of the others.

I am definitely looking at buying from owner, not dealer, because I can get a better sense of how it's been taken care of that way.

Wow all 3 choices are good. I own an Acura so I will say get an Acura.

But either way you go you will not lose.

All are nice and dependable I guess it all boils down to is price

Yeah, some of the newer Volvos are really nice! I like the s40...with the 5 spd. 2.4 liter engine...yeah baby!

The Acura MDX, fyi, isn't a great mini SUV. I had one as a loaner for a weekend, and I couldn't even get the same stuff in it that I can fit in my little Integra sedan!
